Authentic Storytelling
Kyra Rogers is an independent producer, writer and director who is committed to authentic storytelling. Recent feature length productions include, “Mother’s Little Helpers” (SXSW) “Other Music” (Tribeca), “Homewrecker” (Fantastic Fest) and “18 1/2” (Coming Soon). She was the recipient of the 2019 Austin Film Fest screenplay award for Best Comedy Teleplay Spec for “Atlanta: Ghetto Submarine”.
Transgressive Cinema
Kyra is a member of the management team on the Slamdance Group, an artist-run, Oscar qualifying film festival in Park City Utah focused on the work of emerging and underrepresented artists from around the world. Kyra supports festival operations as its Grants Manager and is also heavily involved in strategic planning and operations.
